• Account Information: Email address, username, and optional profile information
• User-Generated Content: Projects, tasks, spaces, task descriptions, due dates, and member lists you create within the app
• Usage Data: Anonymized crash reports and analytics data collected via Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry to improve app stability and performance
• Authentication Data: Secure JWT tokens managed by our backend server for session management

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the app's core functionality:

• To create and manage your user account
• To enable project, space, and task management with team collaboration
• To send critical service announcements and account-related push notifications (we never send marketing emails)
• To analyze app performance and fix bugs through anonymized crash reports
• To manage app version updates via Remote Config
• To enforce our Terms of Service and community guidelines

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We use Firebase services (Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging, Firestore) for crash reporting, version management, push notifications, and UGC reporting. We use Sentry for additional error monitoring. These providers comply with industry-standard security practices.

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• With your explicit consent
• To comply with legal obligations or governmental requests
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Goalink, our users, or the public

Data Retention

We retain your personal information and user-generated content for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including your profile, projects, tasks, spaces, and collaboration records — will be permanently removed from our servers.

Anonymized usage data and crash reports may be retained for analytical purposes but cannot be traced back to your account. This allows us to continue improving the app for all users without compromising your privacy.

Your Rights and Data Control

You have full control over your data:

• Data Access: You can view and manage all your projects, tasks, spaces, and profile information within the app
• Data Correction: You can update your profile information, project details, and tasks at any time
• Data Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data as described in the next section

Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen within the app. This action is irreversible and will remove your profile, projects, tasks, spaces, and all collaboration records. We recommend exporting any important information before proceeding.

As noted in the Data Retention section, anonymized crash reports and usage statistics that cannot be linked to your account may be retained for analytical purposes.

Data Security

We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your information:

• All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS protocols
• Data at rest is encrypted using secure infrastructure
• Authentication is managed via JWT tokens with automatic refresh
• We regularly review our security practices

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but continuously work to improve our safeguards.

User-Generated Content and Community Guidelines

Goalink allows users to create projects, tasks, and spaces that are visible to team members you invite. By using the app, you agree not to create content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy
• Infringing on intellectual property or proprietary rights
• Spam, malicious code, or phishing attempts

We provide an in-app reporting system for objectionable content. All reports are manually reviewed by our team. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate our Terms of Service or community guidelines.

Children's Privacy

Goalink is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information immediately. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or app features. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Goalink is hosted on servers that may be located in various countries.
